For a 50MW data center in Singapore, the client needed ceiling access that wouldn't compromise fire rating or allow dust ingress into the server rooms. We designed a hook-on strip system with integral gasket seals that achieves IP54 dust protection while allowing single-person removal in under 20 seconds. The key engineering was a spring-loaded retention clip that maintains consistent gasket compression (±15%) across thermal cycling from 18°C to 28°C. For equipment rooms with heavy HVAC ductwork above, we added wind uplift clips rated to 2.5kPa—surviving 1-in-50-year wind events without panel displacement. This system has now been specified for 12 data centers across Southeast Asia.
